Lakers Are Feeling Super!
The 'Superman' is coming to Los Angeles, and the fans here are in purple & gold heaven! Dwight Howard of The Orlando Magic is now a Laker, and he is being introduced to the media live right now in a press conference at Staples Center.
As far as the other headliners involved, Andrew Bynum leaves the Lakers for Philadelphia and Andre Lguodala is heading to Denver.
Kobe Bryant welcomed Dwight to the Lakers by telephone from the London Olympics on Friday, overjoyed to have the superstar center as a new NBA teammate for the upcoming 2012-2013 season.
Bryant said the Lakers should be poised to win now. The Orlando Magic? They might not be saying that for years...
In our opinion, this is the greatest Laker trade since the move for Shaquille O'Neal during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. We finally have another giant center!
So after the Lakers got Steve Nash from Phoenix a few weeks ago, we are ready to go!
See you in the NBA finals next year! Woooooo!!!!
