    Romney's VP pick

    Out of Touch Ticket

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DrewDean says Paul Ryan is an affable candidate and is intelligent, offering alternatives to President Obama's policies. 'While the selection of Paul Ryan as Romney's running mate might help to mobilize billionaires, right-wing think tanks, and conservative media, it is not going to help Mitt Romney win the hearts of middle class and poor Americans,' he says. He thinks the Republican Party has gone too far to the right with the Romney/Ryan ticket.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Paul Ryan will not help poor and middle class Americans relate to this Republican ticket. Given Ryan's devotion to Ayn Rand, his radical budget proposal, and his inability to understand systemic inequality; he will only mobilize support among people who would have voted for Mitt Romney in the first place.
