This iReport is part of an assignment:
Romney's VP pick |
The Romney-Ryan Ticket
Many polls including those taken by the New York Times indicated clearly that the American public has wanted the people in congress to work together and find compromises in order to solve our nation's problems. As if he had not been listening or paying any attention at all, Romney has chosen one of the most un-compromising politicians that any of have seen in recent memory.
In addition, Ryan is one of the most vocal opponents to women's rights and issues in the political arena today. Again Mr. Romney is pandering to the radical right who, like himself, is out of touch.
Thirdly and more ominously, as we all know, the Vice-President is constitutionally the successor to the president in the event of the president’s death or incapacity. I shudder to think of Ryan as president of the United States.
Let us all, therefore, pray earnestly for two things; that the Romney-Ryan ticket loses the election and if by some quirk or fraud they win, that nothing happens to Romney.
