No Garage Sale

From August 7, 2012, Tuesday, heavy monsoon rains devastated Metro Manila, Philippines.
90 percent of the National Capital Region was submerged in flood waters as non stop rains poured for two straight days.
Thousands of residents needed to leave their homes and ended wet and hungry in evacuation centers.
This event reminded the Filipinos of the year 2009 when Typhoon 'Ondoy' brought the same 'water world' scene to the Philippines.
The weather cleared on Thursday, August 9, 2012. People began cleaning their homes and disposing of damaged pieces of furniture. Since power was cut off for days, residents placed their things in the streets to dry.
These photos were taken on August 10, 2012 when F. Manalo Street in San Juan City, Philippines, looked as though the whole community is having a big garage sale.
