A Life Boat by Lake Michigan Saves Lives
On Sunday, Rebekah Tucker and Emily Rogers performed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on Jorge Pedroso, age 60, after he was pulled out of Lake Michigan from a deep dive off the warf where he bumped his head on a rock by the Rogers Park Beach along the North Shore of Lake Michigan. The man was turning blue before Rebekak Tucker's CPR efforts found a pulse by the time the 911 emergency ambulance arrived. The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. By Monday afternoon, Jorge Pedroso was in stable condition thanks to the two Life Savers by the Rogers Park Beach along Lake Michigan in Illinois USA.
