Protest in China for Google's cut on workforce
Google's latest decision on cutting Motorola Mobility workforce has caused intense reactions. This 4000 job lose is a brutal action to all MMI employees who have dedicated many years of their life to this company.MMI facility in Nanjing, capital city of JiangSu province in China, which has 500 employees, is gona be shut down and all employees will lose their jobs. Nanjing branch has been contributing to MMI for years with profit earned every year. It takes major development work in MMI's most successful milestone products, including Droid, Razr etc. Meanwhile, IT corporations in this city is suffering from recession which cause limited position are open. Google's action is devastating to all employee's family at this moment.
In Reaction, all Nanjing Staff has risen to protest against this shutdown. They have elected a committee to negotiate with HR trying to protect this facility. They will even pursue government assistance.
