    Explosion Rocks Damascus, Syria

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     This iReporter said most of his family in Damascus, Syria, were asleep when a bomb blast shook the city. "I was looking out the window of a building with a clear view of Damascus, where deep smoke was clearly visible nearby," he said. The blast, claimed by Syrian rebels, was reportedly targeting an army complex. Three people were wounded in the incident. Our iReporter said he captured this time lapse video of smoke rising from the attack "to share a view from the normal civilian perspective and to show how even the those living in the capital are now threatened."
