Weather (or Not) at the Olympics

Whoever said that Great Britain would be rainy and cold for the Olympics was wrong - at least in the second and final week of competition. Skies were bright blue, temps were warm and the sun shone brightly on the outdoor venues.
In fact, the indoor venues (and the Tube trains for that matter) were downright stuffy. I've been told the athletes preferred the warmer temps for competition and the wrestling venue at the Excel Center certainly was nice and toasty. The indoor volleyball at Earls Court also had the audience breaking a sweat.
In a long distance dedication to Bob Van Dillen, the only meteorologist I trust, I snapped some pics of how seasonable the weather was. I will also add a tip for those of you ever trying to convert Celcius to Farenheit, as was the case in London: Multiply Celcius by 2 and add 32. That will give you a ballpark figure for the temperature.
