    Air & Water Show By North Beach, Lake Michigan

    Celebrating U.S. Navy Week in the Windy City and the Bicentennial Commemorative of the War of 1812 in 2012, the Chicago Air & Water Show along Lake Michigan, showcases the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights, U.S. Navy Parachute Team Leap Frogs, the Civilian Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, and other aircraft maneuvers. A view of Navy Pier from the W Hotel Chicago Lake Shore features the Lake Michigan lakefront for the Air & Water Show this weekend. Free admission from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. by North Avenue Beach on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19, 2012. Plan to be early by the lakefront for a front seat viewing of the Air & Water Show from Oak Street Beach to Fullerton Avenue by Lake Michigan.   The best show happens at North Avenue Beach and Ohio Street Beach for free viewing at the lakefront in the Windy City.
