Seniors, Don't Worry About Romney's Medicare Plan. Just Throw Your Kids Under the Bus
Romney's advisors believe that stumping with your Mom will add credibility to Ryan's Vision for the future of Medicare.
You've seen the TV spots: Republican candidates' Moms telling senior citizens that they can trust their sons when they tell you that the Republican plan for Medicare won't hurt you.
What Mom wouldn't tell the truth about something as important as Medicare? Right?
The Big Lie Of The Day: A Plan Even Paul Ryan’s Mother Couldn’t Love

Do you remember the Ivory Soap Girl? Pure innocence. And the Ivory Baby cuddled in the pure white blanket?
And they ended the commercial with, "For skin as soft as a baby's behind".
Framing is everything . The GOP has some good ad guys. They can afford them with all the corporate money that backs them. But clearly, they got this one wrong..seriously wrong. Seniors won't betray their own children so they can have Medicare themselves.
America's middle class "pays it forward". Most seniors don't believe in "Shrugging their responsibility" to the next generation as Ayn Rand's 'Atlas' did simply out of concern for "one own self interest". They have too much class to do that. Those that came before us, that built and fought for this nation wouldn't have done this. Neither will we. We believe in the principles this country was founded upon- that United we stand and divided we fall. That is not what men like Romney and Ryan believe. They believe in greed and selfishness.
That's why America's senior citizens aren't buying the "pure as the driven snow" snake oil that Romney and Ryan are trying to sell them.
When Romney says President Obama is trying to win this election by using divisiveness and that he should take his campaign back to Chicago, America's seniors are asking, "Who is being divisive?"
Romney and Ryan are telling seniors that their plan will keep everything intact for those that are 55 or older. Only people younger than 55 need worry. Does Romney think this resonates well with seniors? Many of us have children we worry about that won't get Medicare under Romney's plan.
Romney is asking senior citizens to selfishly accept Medicare for themselves while they throw their "under 55 year old kids and grandchildren" under the Romney bus or should we say, "Strap them to the top of the Romney campaign vehicle".
America's older voters know we're all in this together and are realizing that it's the Romney campaign who is trying to win this election by dividing us.
