Last summer my three sons and I took two intellectually disabled Special Olympics athletes to the top of Kilimanjaro. It was only the second time Special Olympics athletes had climbed Kilimanjaro and was a first for Asia and Africa. Salihin from Singapore and Herieth from Tanzania were honored by the President and named Sportsman of the Year respectively. At the summit our team of many nationalities around the world to make an appeal to end slavery.
