Becharreh - Lebanon. Festivities flame up the nights of Lebanon. It is in fact known for being the country where people dance even if there is shelling and gunshots in the juxtaposing street. People enjoy dancing traditional Dabkeh once Lebanese songs put their emotions on fire. The rhythm creates its own beat within attendees and incites them to indulge into the dance. No matter how old Dabkeh is, all generations love to dance it. It is based on gathering people, hand in hand to make small lines attaching to each other until a circle is formed. And the dance goes on, especially when the singer has a strong voice with a special appeal! Photos taken on August 18, 2012.
