    Utah Wildfires

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     liznjoshllc was driving on the highway just outside of Heber City in the western U.S. state of Utah when he noticed the area was surrounded by police and fire authorities, so he pulled over to the side of the road and hiked a few feet to get this shot. This scene is only five miles away from his home, where the wind is blowing in the opposite direction. “If the winds shifted, I’d be worried,” he says, but assures he and his family are not in danger. liznjoshllc told me a few moments ago the fire has only intensified and the interstate is now closed.

    The Whiskey Springs wildfire broke out 5 miles from my house. I grabbed my camera, and took a few shots.
