Tony Scott Jumps Off Bridge
Renowned director and producer Tony Scott jumped to his death off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California around 12:30 pm, Sunday, August 19th. His suicide note left in his black Prius has not yet been released. He leaves behind a wife, 12 year old twin boys, and his famous brother Ridley Scott.
As a huge fan of his work, I am heartbroken by this news. He produced and directed some of my favorite films, including "Top Gun," "Domino," and "Spy Game," and "Enemy of the State."
The burning question is always, why? It could be days, weeks, or never find out what was possibly going through his head when jumped to take his own life.
It also brings up questions about mental health. In my opinion, the system is weak.
My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time of grief.
