Bollywood's Hottest Kissing Scenes
Romance with a dash of desire is what we see when there’s a kissing scene on screen! Here are some of Bollywood’s best remembered lip-locks!
Aamir Khan’s famous kiss with Karisma Kapoor in Raja Hindustani had eyes popping out as the rain and the love drenched the two. Emraan Hashmi spun back kissing on screen after Aamir in Murder. The actor has shared a kiss in almost all of his films till date- Giving him the title of a ‘serial kisser’! But his best and hottest kiss has to be with Mallika Sherawat in the film Murder. What a pity they haven’t signed a film together since!
A talked-about kiss on screen is the scene between Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan. This beautiful couple burnt a hole on the screen as they were caught in the moment in the movie Dhoom 2. The audience couldn’t help but sigh! Barbara Mori too got her share of Hrithik’s lady-killer lips as the two got really intimate in the movie Kites, and from what we’ve heard, a little off-screen too!
You can’t talk of kisses and not enlist the Guru kiss between Madhavan and Vidya Balan. In the rain, with her crying, and Maddy looking oh-so-kissable, the girls swooned all over as he finished his proposal with a passionate smooch! Vidya’s other kissing scene with Arshad Warsi in Ishqiya may not have suited his wife, but you can’t deny that the two made for quite a wolf-whistling scene as the lust spun out of control in the Gorakhpur-based gangster movie.
Another memorable kissing scene was between ex-lovers Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in the movie Jab We Met. Flushed faces, moist eyes and soooo much of drama in that scene totally made up for the break-up that was soon to follow off-screen! When both Kapoor sisters have had their share of making out on screen, you can’t expect their young cousin to be left far behind! Ranbir Kapoor wrestled with the lusty-lipped Nargis Fakhri as the two challenged norms and boundaries in the movie Rockstar. Their kiss in the fields of Prague will be remembered because of the rebellious streak in it!
While you may think that it’s only recently that the Indian audience has grown to watching lip-locks on screen, we’d like to tell you that the first filmy kiss was between Devika Rani and Himanshu Rai in the 1933 movie Karma and was, behold- FOUR minutes long! Pretty bad-ass, eh?
So there you go- That’s Bollywood getting its rightful streak of no-holds barred lip-locking! Don’t forget to tell us which your favourite kissing screen is!
