    Eid Celebration in Dubai

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter jesdalupang captured these images of locals in a mall in Dubai celebrating the Muslim festival of Eid. "They were taking pictures of the camel and Emiratis were serving tea or applying henna art tattoos to their shoulders and hands in the red tent," she said. The Gulf emirate's government declared a holiday from 19-20th August for everyone to take part in the celebrations.

This is what's happening in Dubai in celebration of Eid season. Muslim community greet each other 'Eid Mubarak' meaning blessed festival.

All people in Middle East can now freely eat and drink in public after almos a month of fasting. As you can see on images I took, people flock along Deira CIty Center mall enjoying a two-day holiday declared by the government among private sector.

Earlier, it was declared by Muslim countries in Middle East that they will not allow eating or drinking in public during holy month of Ramadan. This is to give due respect among Muslim community doing fasting.

As a common practice, Eid is a time for thanksgiving, gift-giving, and perfect time to replace household items into new one for good luck.
