    Professional by Day, Costuming on Labor Day

    Administrative Assistant, that's what I am Monday thru Friday for 8 hours a day. Well, that's been my title for a little over a year now working for a trucking company just outside the Savannah Ports. When I started this job I had one request, I had to be off for Labor Day for Dragon Con. Its been that way with every job, I have ever had.This is my 11th year attending and I've been sewing since April. My frist D*C I was my version of the Balrog from Lord of the Rings. As the years passed I entered costume contest and won a few (best armor for the Dawn lookalike Contest 3 years in a row) at Dragon Con.

    This year I have 6 costumes ranging across the fandoms.
    -Katherine Pierce (Vampire Diaries) 1864 Green Dress
    -Chewbacca (Star Wars)
    -Rainbow Brite (Rainbow Brite 1980's)
    -Merida (Disney's Brave)
    -Thor (female version from Earth X Comic)
    -Pirate "Arr!"

    This list includes several prop weapons, 4 wigs, 1 hoop skirt, 5 garmet bags, 4 pair of shoes, 1 pair of platform lifts, and the list goes on.
    Now my only worry is will it fit in the car.

    So if your going to Dragon Con, look for me and take a picture!
