    Paradise in Crete

    Our family vacation took us to Crete this summer. We were excited to be experiencing something different, as this was first time visiting the Greek Islands. We stayed in Elounda, a small village in the northern part of the island. Built up on a hillside slope, our resort, The Blue Palace, was breathtakingly beautiful. The weather was perfect, the crystal blue water of Elounda Bay was flawless, and the surrounding scenery was stunning. Even the most colorful adjectives could not describe the beauty of this serene island. It truly felt like paradise on earth.
