5-YR OLD AMERICAN CHILD ABDUCTED BY HIS FATHER FROM HIS MOTHER WHILE ON VACATION IN MALAYSIA
A very good friend of mine, Darlena Mays, American woman, has had her 5 year old son abducted in Malaysia by his grandparents approximately 4 weeks ago. The mother, father and son had gone to Malaysia on a family vacation, a second honeymoon and they had had a good time.
The day they were supposed to return to the United States, while the mother was in the shower, the father's parents took the little boy from the house and never returned. When the mother came out of the shower her son, her husband, and the grandparents were gone. When the husband returned without the little boy and she asked him where their son was. He told her that she would never raise their son and that she must go back to the United States without him or their child.
Darlena stayed in Malaysia for an entire month fighting to make them return her child to her refusing to leave without him. The threats from the other family members and the police left her fearing for her life and with no resources, contacts and financially unprepared for the hotel and food costs of an extra month in a foreign country, she had to return to the United States just 2 days ago.
The US Embassy in Malaysia cannot help her because Malaysia does not have an agreement with the United States in cases of custody or abduction from the US.
The FBI said they could help her but for no less than 6 figures?
I am desperately reaching out to anyone I can think of that can help get this story in front of an audience in hopes of finding someone that might have connections in Malaysia or to the FBI or whoever to help us get this little boy back to his mother.
Please if there is anything you can do or anything you can advise us to do ourselves, I would really appreciate your time and/or your resources.
Thank you,
(friend of the family)
