What happened to the days of school beginning after Labor Day and ending right before Memorial Day?
Classes begin earlier and earlier with kids having to catch the bus as early as 6:00 in the morning? There have always been school fee's. I remember having to pay a buck fifty for art supplies back in the "Good Old Days" Now you about have to take out a loan to start your children is school.
These are my youngest Grandson's on their first day of school. Isaac the older one has Asperger's but is mainstreamed into a regular class setting. He was less than thrilled to be catching the bus at 6:15 AM. If Isaac meets his goals for the day he gets extra computer time and this suits him just fine, junior geek that he is.. Aiden, the younger one, in photo two, is smiling at least.
Will be interesting to hear about their first day as always.
