    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

Today the platform committee met to finalize the official platform that will be voted on by all RNC delegates at the start of Republican National Convention next week.

Just hours ago, the committee voted to include a significant plank: calling for a Constitutional ban on abortion.

The decision, follows the Party's long-standing opposition to abortion and support for a "human life amendment."

So what do you think? Was it a wise decision to include in the official platform language? Will it sway your vote one way or the other? Let me know in the comments section below.
