    Fun and Colors in Lefkada, the Parade

    We travelled more than 300 kms from Athens to the island of Lefkada last weekend to attend the International Folklore Festival. Now on its 50th year, this festival is an annual gathering of various countries as they present cultural and traditional music and dance. This is organized by the prefecture of Lefkada to foster peace, friendship and brotherhood among nations.

     

    The festival started with a parade and Opening program last Sunday August 19. It is still ongoing until August 26.
