Rev. Jesse Jackson marches for Chavis Carter

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DocPain says he and his son have been following the Chavis Carter case, where a young man was fatally shot while in handcuffs in the back of a police car. He and his son attended a march in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on August 22 with many other people, including Reverend Jesse Jackson. The group protested for more transparency from the county's police department that was involved with the case. 'The rally was a very peaceful and slightly disorganized event, yet it had the feeling of a wake. The crowd was noisy, yet respectful and the overall feeling was charged with determined energy. This is not a story that will fade away,' he said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Rev. Jesse Jackson visited Jonesboro Arkansas to march with members of local groups who have been pressuring Jonesboro Police Dept. with more transparency in the alleged suicide of Chavis Carter. The Reverend appeared physically and emotionally drained after the march, which ran from haltom st. to the justice center, downtown.
