    The America's Cup has hit the San Francisco Bay

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     dinalee says the scene of the America's Cup World Series in San Francisco was exciting. "San Francisco has never experienced this kind of event in its Bay before. Sure they've had Fleet Week, air shows and other miscellaneous events, but America's Cup and its series? That has never happened here," she says. "The fact that it's back in the United States after an 18-year reprieve makes it all that more exciting. I got a rush when I was taking the photos."

    The America's Cup(AC) has hit the San Francisco Bay.

     

    The AC World Series is currently taking place, and in this series the boats are 45' long, and will have the World's best sailors on the bay. The America's Cup has a long history and tradition, but is has not been in the United States for the last 18 years. I will photograph the races and the boats on the ground.
