    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Emergency preparations are underway in the capital city of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic as residents and businesses brace themselves for tropical storm Isaac. Building workers are busy sealing windows and installing wood panels to protect establishments from unrelenting winds. Business establishments are shutting down for the day.
