    Sikh Community Says Thank You

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     In the aftermath of the shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, cinders23 and the Oak Creek community are continuing to stand in solidarity. "It has been over two weeks since the shooting and we are still in shock. This photo shows a handmade banner by the Sikh community thanking people for their support during an extreme time of stress," she says. "It is especially poignant in that the members signed the banner with their handprints, reminding us that we are all together in this world."

    The Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, WI, is displaying this banner along the road out front. Across the bottom are the hand prints of the members of the Sikh community, Today Michelle Obama is in town to speak with the survivors. Last week a Sikh was shot and killed during a robbery at his gas station. And so it continues...
