From historical to thrilling rides

I will shortly embark a very long hard journey from Hawaii to a far away Continent to seek health care. I think that will be the most thrilling ride of my life.
The first and second picture was taken in Budapest after my melanoma surgery in 2006. But the second photo has also a historical meaning. They even let me in the driver seat, because of that. I was a young political writer and Freedom fighter before I escaped on 26 of August 1972, forty years ago to Switzerland. I belonged to an underground writers group who tried to free Hungary from the foreign occupation. But we were always under the watchful eyes of the police, so we could not meet in many places. Then we came up with the idea to meet in an amusement park in Budapest. This was a very poor lit tunnel ride, so we could exchange secretly documents and flyers. The lovely drive was about a Hungarian fairy tail for kids but to do these actions made it to a very dangerous “thrill” drive. When we would be spotted we faced many years in jail. Unfortunately we were caught later and we all ended up in political jail in 1972.
The third photo shows me in Queenstown, New Zealand just before the very challenging river speed boat adventure ride. They name it the “Shotover River Ride”. It is about the most exciting ride I ever experienced. Anyway I am always up for a good adventure. It was awesome. The boat speeds towards the rock walls of the river and turns away in the last possible second before crashing into it. I found this great and gorgeous place by my wonderful visit to New Zealand in 1994. New Zealand is so beautiful and I hope that I can visit it again.
Photos four to eight I took in my so beloved Home Hawaii two years ago. These pictures show a summer amusement park on Magic Island, Honolulu Hawaii. Thank You: PuakeaJutka
