    Typhoon Bolaven

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     idonttknowy captured photographs of the ocean waves on a beach in Okinawa, Japan, on August 25. He says the ocean seemed violent compared to how it usually is. Also, he says at the time that he captured the video Okinawa was experiencing 51 mph winds with a lot of rain. 'Typhoons are a part of life in Okinawa. When typhoons come through everybody does their part in tying things down outside and cleaning up the surrounding areas that are around their homes,' he said. As the storm moves into the area, he says all he can do now is relax and wait it out.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

As Typhoon Bolaven approaches Okinawa, the wind and waves are starting to pick up. At 7:00 PM JST, with the storm still about 12 hours out, the wind speeds are already reaching speeds of 37 MPH. If the storm continues on its current path, destructive winds of this category 4 storm are predicted to start hitting Okinawa around 6 AM on Sunday morning(08/26/2012) and continue on to 6 Am the next day with wind speeds reaching 184 MPH.
