    Swimming in a storm

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DebSun captured a photo of a man swimming in Miami Beach in the morning of August 26. She was out on the beach to take photographs of the storm when a man approached her and said there was a swimmer in the water, but he could not find him any longer. 'I was able to pick him up with my telephoto lens. Moved in closer to get a better look at him and was relieved to see he was still afloat and swimming,' she said. 'I couldn't believe someone would swim today as the seas were very rough.' She says bands of rain and intense winds are currently hitting Miami. She says she is more worried about her daughter who attends Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She says this will be the first hurricane her daughter experiences alone. 'She received an email from her urban planning professor saying "here is your first lesson in urban planning... Prepare for a hurricane,"' she said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Swimmer in the ocean on Miami Beach as Isaac approaches. Swimmer tied a plastic bottle to his wrist and swam the ocean for at least an hour that we saw. At one point we lost sight of him and were a little concerned. He emerged and continued on with his swim.
