CNN PRODUCER NOTE     frankjgjr says flood waters poured into the lobby of his apartment building in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on August 26, 2012. He was down in the lobby area trying to help move around furniture so that they would not be destroyed from the flood water, which eventually receded a half hour later. He says rainfall has picked up in the past few hours and now heavy rain keeps coming down with each new rainband. 'As I look out the window now, I can see that the wind is more unified, and it is more intense,' he said. 'You can see everything is moving in the same direction, like the palm trees and the shrubs. I can hear shutters shaking.' Despite the intensified rainfall, he says he feels like he made the right decision staying at his home and not evacuating. 'I am prepared. I have water, and I have a safe place to go in the building,' he said.
