    Punta Gorda Florida storm winds

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     wdoktor captured a video of rainfall from his patio in Punta Gorda, which is a city on the west coast of Florida, just an hour south of Tampa. He says rainbands are moving through the area and the wind is picking up. 'One minute it is calm and the next minute it is picked up pretty strong. It will rain and then it will stop,' he said. Despite the sporadic rainfall, he says he and his neighbors are getting prepared for Isaac. They are putting up their hurricane shutters and starting their generators. 'I was here through Hurricane Charlie, which was a category four hurricane, so we are not too worried about Isaac. But we do have neighbors who recently moved here and they are not experienced with this kind of weather,' he said. 'But you never know. You have to be prepared.'
