There is a lot of gust, and it is very windy and very rainy,' he said. He and his wife placed sand bags against their doors and packed everything up inside their house. 'I am looking at one of our sliding glass doors and our blinds are moving because the wind is blowing through the door,' he said. The typhoon is one of the strongest storms to hit the area in the past 12 years, and he says he is worried about the aftermath of the storm. 'The wind is howling and whistling I can hear things blowing around down the street,' he said. As a resident of Okinawa for the past five years, he says he is familiar with typhoons. 'I have been through two typhoons, and this is by far the worse. The others I have gone through were category one or two, but this is a four. It is like a super typhoon,' he said. 'I am scared to see what happens after the storm passes,' he said.
