    Flooding in West Palm Beach

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     After a long night of heavy rains and strong wind, LizYavinsky says she was shocked to wake up to a completely flooded neighborhood. With water levels at about two to three feet deep, she says there are turtles swimming, frogs jumping, and fish swimming down the streets of West Palm Beach, FL. "The lakes in our community are spilling into the streets. The fish swimming in our driveway created a lot of excitement among our children, and our oldest son grabbed a raft and floated in the street for a while," she says. " A few neighbors have tried driving down the street, but all have turned back because of the water levels. Many neighbors were standing in their driveways this morning and scratching their heads."

Last night, Isaac's feeder bands pummeled our area in South Florida. High winds, lightening, and heavy rains. We woke to a flooded neighborhood. The golf course is under water, and the lakes have spilled into the street.. There are fish swimming in our driveway and dead fish everywhere. We have never seen flooding like this in our neighborhood. Even though it is inconvenient, our kid are happy that school is closed, and they are enjoying the sights to see on our street!
