Evening Across the Shenandoah Valley
"Let us cross over the river and rest under the shade of the trees'
Last words of Stonewall Jackson
The Shenandoah River Valley is part of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range and the Appalachian Chain. No matter the season of the year the quiet valley and hallowed ground offers breath taking views, Civil War History, apple orchards, winery's and festivals, antiques, arts and crafts, hikers, campers and nature lovers are never disappointed . White water rafting or slow river tubing is a favorite pass time as well as beautiful snow skiing in the winter.
As sun sets across the blue hazed mountains and evening falls the sense of peace is overwhelming.
Truly a great feeling to end the day.
