    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Already stocked up on water, supplies and a generator, luvnola says she can't believe they are having to deal with Hurricane Isaac so close to the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. "People have been boarding up their businesses and homes," she says. "There's just voluntary evacuations right now. Hopefully it doesn't get that bad."

    The streets of downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter were mostly deserted early this morning. Aside from the curious onlooker people were continuing to board up doors and windows as they prepare for the wrath of Hurricane Isaac. Others were picking up last minute provisions to ride out the storm as the rains began coming down...
