    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Hwalker123 and her sister were showered and sprayed by water when they decided to check out the beginnings of Hurricane Isaac at Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans. "We didn’t expect such big waves and we were not expecting to go home soaking wet. We even grabbed each other because it felt like we were going to fly away with the mist!" she says. "The hurricane is on its way and the winds are very strong. We moved all our cars to higher ground and closed the shutters on our house. We stocked up on water, food, batteries and gas, so we are ready to ride it out!"
