Where is Lech Stankiewicz, the owner of Star the dog

People all over the United States are asking the same question, “where is Lech Stankiewicz, Star’s owner?” Star is the dog shot by an NYPD officer two weeks ago.

One concerned person not only wants to locate Stankiewicz, but would like to help him make a fresh start in life.

Charlie Cifarelli a native New Yorker and business man, is looking for Star’s owner, not out of curiosity, but to Offer Stankiewicz a helping hand.

Cifarelli, who now lives in Nebraska stated, “Two weeks ago after a stressful day at work, I was ready to go home and I checked the news online. I saw the article of the shooting in the N.Y Daily News and watched the video. I cried, but no tears outside; I'm a guy I cried inside. I never felt such pain because I saw a dog screaming in pain, Lech on the ground and all the children who had to see this pain. I saw the Police shooting in the direction of each other and thought this is insane.”

“I went home numb and stayed that way, but you see I'm not a quitter. I had to do something to say, "I can't take this pain and I know others must have felt the same. I came up with the idea to start a Facebook page for Star. I knew others may have done a better job, but you see I wasn't waiting to see. I felt Stars pain and knew others knew it as well.” Cifarelli went on to state.

In a exclusive Examiner interview with Cifarelli, he had this to say about his open offer to Stankiewicz, “As a business man, I have helped others get back on their feet. I offer them help, a place to stay and a job. In all the media that has been written in the two weeks, I am concerned that Stankiewicz’s needs have been overlooked.”

“I have a job which is my career. I need nothing, but hope, to keep me going. I have met the most amazing people over this dog an her owner, I know as Star and Lech. I just hope and pray that this story will stay, so we won’t have to do this again.” Cifarelli stated.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Star’s owner Lech Stankiewicz, please send an email to mhamacww@yahoo.com. All emails will be kept confidental.
