    Peace at Pangaimotu

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter RomaniaScene captured these beautiful images of the island of Pangaimotu in the Pacific kingdom of Tonga, where she is working as a teacher for the Peace Corps. "This beach area is a nice place to take a walk, swim, read a book, gaze at the ocean, kayak or snorkel a bit, have a great lunch and just be," she says. "I like it because the water is calm, it is close to the main island, and a day trip here is just great."

    Every chance I get, I go out to this little island just a 15 minute power boat ride from Tongatapu here in the Kingdom of Tonga. There are fale (huts) to sleep in, kayak and snorkel rentals, a small wreck to see great fish under, games, a restaurant that serves a very tasty lunch, music at night and best of all it's quiet with soft sand and views of that lovely blue water of the South Pacific.
