    Dr. Love, Before and During Hurricane Isaac

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     New Orleans resident JohnLaTier shot these photographs of Dr. Love during Isaac on Tuesday, August 28. Walking by Dr. Love almost everyday, he says he never actually stopped to talk to him in Jackson Square until Isaac was coming. "I experienced all these people who were forced to move and one of them was Dr. Love. He's such a spirit and a great guy. I asked him if he was going to leave and he said no way I'm not going to leave," he says. "A majority of his belongings were taken away due to safety hazards with the winds. I normally would feel intrusive to take photos like these, I wouldn't do this do this usually, but in this case, people need a voice. I don't think anybody should be homeless."
