"Green on Blue" Attacks in Afghanistan Are Nothing Compared to Military Suicides

Oddly, we've heard not much mention about the Afghanistan War that continues to take our soldiers lives in Afghanistan and here at home by suicide.
Green on blue attacks or insider attacks have escalated, but not as much as suicide among our military.
These attacks have been successful in creating the desired results of demoralizing our troops and the few civilians here at home that pay attention to the War anymore.
Here in Watertown, NY, near Ft. Drum, we hear about these deaths on nearly a daily basis.

They are very much a part of our daily lives.

Flags seldom fly at full mast anymore somewhere in our town.
Less is reported on Afghanistan nowadays. Unless an attack happens, we don't see the daily horror that affects the lives of less than 1% of America's military families.
The 99% are busy deciding on who they will vote for in November, trying to find work, pay for health care costs, and putting their children into a college that's no longer a guarantee of a good paying job now that casino capitalism rules our World.
No, not much has been done as quickly as it should to bring our troops back. But then, some say, "What jobs could military find here in the U.S. with high unemployment".
So, is it better to keep them in War?

At least, there they have a job? Ask the troops and see what they'd like to have happen.
We can't build schools and roads here, but we have money to build embassies in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We can't build here because some say we have no money, but we seem somehow to find money for war and rebuilding there, what we destroyed.
Republicans, at this year's convention say they want to strengthen America's military.

The GOP believe in "American exceptionalism". Democrats have been complacent.
Does that mean that we can make more war, and have money for that, but that we can't find the money to rebuild America's infrastructure and education?
Build everywhere after we invade, except here..in the United States?
    American exceptionalism?
We need to accelerate the withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan.

We need to build this country back up. We need to mind more of our own business, rather than paying so much regard to other places as we ignore the needs of our own people and country.
Obama needs to discontinue the Bush policies.

Maybe after the election, he'll have more freedom to do just that and faster.

Maybe our military should invade here, in the U.S. and blow up some bridges so we could have a reason to repair those bridges as we did in Iraq and do in Afghanistan. America's politics and philosophies abroad should also apply here at home.
