John McCain's Vision for US Foreign Policy not Right for this Time

John McCain is a war hero and has served Served Arizona and the United States honorably in the Senate. But I disagree with his idea that we need to go in and save other countries from their own civil wars. We do not have the financial resources to keep bailing other people out of their mess. It makes no sense to try and fix someone else's problems when we have our own we need to fix first. We would just end up further eroding our ability to be prosperous as a nation by going further into debt by increasing our already insane deficit.

We need cuts across the board and everybody's sacred cow needs to be a part of it. That includes the Republican's sacred cow: The Military. Specifically our expensive military war operations across the globe.

We need to prioritize and use our military where we get the greatest return which is not jumping into everyone's business and trying to save them. Our priority for the military should be on our own actual defense, not involvement in civil wars.

It is hypocritical of the Republicans to talk about cuts across the board but not talk about cuts on the military. They need to stop talking, and start doing. If they do not give up cuts on theirs, they can not legitimately demand for Democrats to give up cuts on theirs.
