Salute to troops |
My Three Sons
Hello, my name is Jean Bertram and all my sons are currently serving in the United States Army. Our son Brad is set to deploy to Afghanistan in January. We would like to salute our sons, as a Veteran myself, I salute not only all our men and women serving but to the wives and husbands that stay behind and keep their family moving forward. As an American, I am proud to know that our family is continuing the tradition of serving and protecting our freedom. As a mother of three sons serving, Spec. David M. Bertram, PFC. Brad Bertram, and PFC. Eric T. Bertram, their father and I would like to take this opportunity to let them and all our community know just how proud we are of them and the job they do! I never dreamed when I was serving that not one, but all three of my boys would join within weeks of each other, but I also remember the pride I felt as I watched everyone of them graduate from the same basic training post as myself. Our family history is rich with military sacrifices, their grandfather was a retired Sgt. Major, 5th Group, Special Forces, and I am proud to see that our sons carry this tradition. David, Brad, and Eric, from all your family WE SALUTE YOU! HOO*AH
