    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Renkel2009 is black, and her husband is white. 'You can't tell she's my child, and you can't tell my son is my husband's child.' When she delivered her daughter, she said the nurses were trying to figure out how she could have delivered a white child. And when her husband, who is white, went to visit their son in the NICU, 'they were trying to find out why a white man was trying to see a black baby.'

    My name is Tiphani Renkel and on January 27th, 2012, I gave birth to a set of boy/girl fraternal twins.

    1). My daughter is white with blonde hair and blue eyes like my husband.

    2). My son is black with brown hair and brown eyes like myself.

    3). My twins were conceived at 2 different times meaning: I conceived my daughter 1st and then my son 2 weeks later and I found out from my doctor that I ovulated twice in the same month and conceived at 2 separate times; which is very rare.
