This iReport is part of an assignment:
Travel photo of the day |
The Water's Edge
It is the oldest of poems, the oldest of songs.
And the water's song speaks of eternal change and as you hear the lullabye of the water you drift off to serenity, calm and tranquility.
That is why we all surrender ourselves at the edge of the ocean.
"Last night in my dreams
I saw you standing there
There on the White
Sandy beach
Of Hawaii."
We heard IZ sing this one night on the North Shore of Oahu before he passed. "White Sandy Beach" is the name of the song.
He lives on in the song, the photo is of an Oahu North Shore Beach,at Kahuku..
We have today and we rejoice in it.
I try to celebrate life in photos. That's why I post them. If one picture brings a smile to someone every day then I have succeeded. I have no other motive.
