    Which Foods Are Republican?

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Luismiguel4 says he and host Tim Young -- who go by Bread8 Productions -- attended the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Tampa, Florida. 'We don't always do stories about food, but we were pretty intrigued by the overpriced food at the RNC... not to mention that the empanada was really a strange mix in things,' Luismiguel4 said, explaining why they decided to film a satirical video about food and politics at the RNC. They asked a variety of people at the RNC what is a "republican food." 'The most common answer to that was "American foods," I am not sure what that means,' he said. He says the most interesting answer to that question came from Republican Party politician, Rick Santorum. '[He said] blackened gator. Do Louisianans really eat that?' he asked.
