One word for undecided voters: Think
He wears the ensemble along with a polyester Uncle Sam-style hat for when he's out on the convention floor.
The alternate delegate from Georgia isn't a stranger to the Republican National Convention, as this is his third. He's picked up a few tricks throughout his 20-plus years attending conventions.
Scanning the hall, he points out a handful of people wearing yellow.
"It's the easiest color to spot. See?" he mused.
Going beyond what you see, Poole has some statements that are just as loud as his signature outfit.
The BBQ restaurant owner from East Ellijay, Georgia, has a message for the undecided voters out there: Think.
Instead of telling people point-blank to vote for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, he wants people to make up their own minds.
"Think substance, ideas, the issues themselves and realize this class warfare and the rich people do not have enough money to solve the deficit," he said. "That's a broad statement, but think! Think, think, think through."
His ultimate goal is to unite the Republican Party enough to beat Obama come November.
Realizing he had forgotten to share an important part of his story, he started looking around. His wife also comes in costume, he said.
A moment later, a woman in a matching yellow suit popped up from the balcony.
"You think I'm with him? I'm not with him," she teased, motioning toward her twin.
