Why no strong GOP women in Congress?

I've been watching the Republican Convention (some of it) and hearing about all these great women governors in the US and don't forget Condi Rice, our former Secretary of State.

But how many Republican members of Congress are women? How many GOP women hold leadership roles in Congress? Who are the Republican women movers and shakers on the national level?

Sadly, there aren't many. Can you name any?

What does that say about the RNC?

Sure they had plenty of women and minorities up there on stage, but did anyone notice the demographic in the audience?

    Hmmmm....

Where are the women leaders in the Party?

What is wrong with this picture? Anyone else but me see a problem here?

    Or are women really inferior?

Thanks for reading my latest rant! lol

Interestingly enough, I have a long line of women reps...perhaps unprecedented. Check this out: All women.. My governor, Chris Gregoire (pictured), my two Senators, Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, my Congresswoman, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, my new mayor and one of my two state reps. I really doubt anyone can beat that. Why not more women on the national scale?

Women still lag behind so much. This needs to change!!!

    Bring on the debate!
