    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     In between some bad thunderstorms, SuzannGillen shot this lovely photo of a sunflower field planted by the Clear Meadow Farm in Jarrettsville, Maryland. "On such a rainy and dreary day, these sunflowers really brightened up my day," she says. "Just looking at so many sunflowers makes you smile!" Her beautiful image was featured as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for October 16, 2012.

    Thousands of sunflowers are blooming in Jarrettsville, Maryland for a few weeks. They are an amazing sight! Just looking at this field of sunflowers will brighten your day!
