    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     bvrobert photographed a firework show over the glacial river lagoon in Iceland. He says the firework show is an annual event, and this was the thirteeth time it was being celebrated. His first image was selected as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for January 1, 2013!

    FIREWORKS SHOW AT JÖKULSÁRLÓN

    Every year in Iceland, the fireworks show ,in one of the beautiful place of planet : JÖKULSÁRLÓN (ice lagoon) bring thousandas of people from all the world together .
    This year on 25th August was for 13th time held.
    Illuminated icebergs bathed in colour from the magnificent firework show in natures most spectacular surrounding.
    The show in a collaboration between the Hornafjordur search and rescue association, Jokulsarlon boat trips and the Vatnajokull Region creates a wonderful vision of lights and colours.
    The preperation for this event started during the day when the organizers sail between the icebergs and arranged 150 candles on them .
    The fireworks show started at 11 pm from different locations in the lagoon and create one of the most spectacular event of the year.
