                                I have always admired and respected the missions, exploits, escapades and successes of the Hollywood imaged SEALs, potrayed in Steven Segal movies also, I believe it is wrong for a trusted commando, sworn to secrecy and clandestine loyalty to his team,etc. to divulge secret information which could be detrimental to America's security in numerous ways ! I understand the controversy of who is telling the truth and facts, the SEAL or the government and the excitement and suspense attached to this unprecedented book.........I also suspect that the SEAL's motive is $$$$$$ more than honorable disclosure to enlighten the American people ! There is NO 2 ways about it, if a member, decorated hero or otherwise, of America's elite, covert SEALs takes a secrecy oath and violates it, he should face the consequences, which of course he must have known about before writing this potential best seller ! I am not discounting the VERITAS in his story about that raid and I am sure if it is NOT acurate other SEALs who were in the team would quickly set the record straight ! However, that being said, at the end of the day, it is the navy's and the government's position to comment on and or release any media information NOT the brave folk who chose to protect America and the free World with their selfless and daring actions ! SEALs are REAL LIFE 007's and naturally the American people and others in countries outside the US will be anxious and curious to read true life accounts of this daring raid ! I personally think OBL should have been taken alive and tried in America before the World, not assassinated, because this is what American justice is all about, however if the SEALs were obeying orders they are NOT to blame ! I have met many SEALs both at their training facilities in Coronado beach, local hangouts there, Virginia beach, Va. The Hamptons, VA and Cheasapeak,Va.etc. and I respect them highly in every way as great and dedicated soldiers and patriotic Americans, I only hope this latest escapade by one of their own.....doesn't tarnish their MAGNIFICENT images !
